FORMS OF RESISTANCE (Journal Entry 4)

Of all the things I have experienced at this age, I could say that the idea of resistance affects my own self in dealing with various events happened and words thrown upon me. Reflecting on such instances, I realized the significance of fighting back if you know you have already been dictated and harmed, emotionally. This does not necessarily mean violence. There are still other ways, and through those, I am able to continuously stand up and fight for what I know is right.

POWER WEB (Journal Entry 2)

Family, people in the academic world and friends are those who complete the entire cycle of my life. As indicated in the legends, there are certain people who really impose their power over me which I accept such as those of my parents' decisions for my own good. On the other hand, the two-colored circles illustrate a half-half execution of power over each other. In this part, such exercise gives a person the privilege to do his or her own part with regards to decision-making and the sharing of personal thoughts.

Being able to assess one's identity gives him an opportunity to know his own self better. I had these realizations in mind to various aspects if they really are in my control all this time.
Political perspectives, my daily activities which include those of my decisions where I will be going to without the physical guidance of parents are all in my control, considering that I am the only one who lives in Manila and the rest of them are in the province. Moreover, to the lifestyle I am adopting now, is based on what I want to be seen physically.
I may still unable to fully establish my own political position at this time but as it develops through time, I could say that of all the knowledge I gained and will be gaining from future learnings, all of which are decided accordingly, on what I absolutely choose.
